Sistas of the Traveling Trivet

Information

Sistas of the Traveling Trivet

I believe it started as a joke.  While waiting for the BOM I posted a picture of my messy sewing room, someone noticed the 'hot pad' and one thing lead to another.

Let the Adventure begin. . .

Oh yes he says why go to all that work, he is a real  cowboy doesn't like anything to femine but he puts up with it.  We have brown and pink in the master bedroom and bath.  He told me to use change it to what ever colors I liked so that is what I did.  Now he just shakes his head.

And hasn't he ever said anything about cutting up good fabric just to stitch it together again? My favorite pet peeve with guys!!! Yet, look what they do to wood or other things that they call a hobby. So, who is really the crazy?

Oh your anxious I am next on the list, I have been thinking what I want to show the Traveling Trivets.

The other night Ranchdad and I watched THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS 1 and 2.  He thinks we are a bunch of crazy women.

And I wonder how long it will take on the Australia hop! We'll learn a lot about the postal system, won't we?

Somewhere between Maryland and Canada.  Diane said she's not seen them yet, and it takes a loooong time for things to get there.  She said she will let us know as soon as it arrives.  I'm anxious too.

You new sewing room looks wonderful.  Love the thread holder.  I have a peg board for my room too, but I love the idea of putting into a frame.  I might just have to steal that idea.

Lori, I don't envy you all that work.  But your sewing room will be nice when it is done.  I have just posted some pictures of before and after of my sewing room here.  I moved from a 20 x 24' room to a 10 x 12" room.  Had to do lots of organizing and sorting, but I'm happy with it now.  Just got it repainted - a very pale yellow called "Cream Puff".  Eventually, we'll add hardwood floor and new lighting for the ceiling (it is terrible).

Take care.

Yes the final "resting place" for the sewing room.  If I ever get it done It might just be my final resting place.  Have lots to do to prepare it.  First I have to get the basement finished clean up stages, move the furniture from the future sewing room to the basement, remove the carpet, then start moving stuff in.  While that doesn't sound like much as I type this, it's an awful lot of work, and most of it is done on the weekends.

Thanks Lori. It is going to be fun to follow your traveling trivet. I'm also anxious to see that sewing room. I hear that it is going to be magnificent!
