Quilt With Us

Cut out two birds bodies (one reversed), draw two beaks (one reversed) on fusible web and fuse wing fabric WS together.

Stitch one half of hook and loop tape to the body of the bird.

Put fusible on the WS of the bird wing and fuse beaks onto the beak fabric.

Cut beaks out and fuse onto the bird body

Sew a French Knot eye on the bird.

Cut out the bird wing from the double fused fabric.

This is just an image of what the bird will look like for wing placement.  I liked the pic so I threw it in (snicker!).

Place bird bodies RST and sew a scant 1/4" around the perimeter leaving a 2" opening for stuffing.  I stitched with white thread here so you can see the stitching.

Stuff the body lightly.

Stitch the opening closed.

Stitch around the perimenter of the wing a scant 1/4".

Stitch the wing to the body of the bird.  Wahoo!  You're done!!!!   Good job!
