Hi EVERYBODY! I was able to get here today! I have not been able to get in because of error messages. I miss all of you so much! I will run on over to LOAQ and say Hi there, too. It is very quiet here. I really was locked out.
I am not receiving emails from any of my groups and I thought that it was probably a good idea to just check often, but I am feeling lost and playing catch up. I will leave the group and come right back in...so don't lock the door. LOL!
I never really apologized to mine, but I did thank them for all the things they did for me when I was growing up (well, maybe not the piano lessons,,,LOL). I was the youngest of 4 girls and my Mom always got a great deal of enjoyment seeing my DH take three little boys to the bathroom! lol Now I have three grandsons and two granddaughters. My youngest son just posted on FB his 3 yr old daughter Adelaide's comment on seeing a close-up of the wicked step-mother in Cinderella: "Dad better not marry someone like that!" Boy, she's fun! : )
Comment by Diane Dugan on May 2, 2012 at 6:40am Charlotte, I apologized to my parents in my late 30's for everything I had done...
Comment by Brenda Crisci on May 2, 2012 at 1:14am wow, sounds like a lot of girls.....all boys here.....three sons, four grandsons.....still have a slight chance for a grand daughter..... :)
Comment by Anne Dent/WA on May 1, 2012 at 7:34pm You may be right on the kids, LOL. Well I am thrilled that 2 of my 3 girls done hate me. wink. On Fri my youngest grand daughter is coming for the weekend! She is 12 and learning embroidery. With luch her project will be to the point of her doing her first machine sewing on Sunday. None of my girls would learn sewing or handwork of any type.
LOL! Anne, my DH retired at the ripe old age of 53 when his company got sold. He's now 65 (looks like he's in his late 40's, the stinker) and I tell everyone that taking up quilting has kept me out of jail for man-slaughter! lol We have two sons living a half an hour away and we sometimes seem to be babysitting (playing, really!) with our grandsons more than we're in our own house. Really cool when your kids suddenly realize that we weren't who they always thought we were, isn't it? I think that has to wait til their own kids have driven them to the edge and they realize what WE were dealing with all that time! LOL
Comment by Anne Dent/WA on May 1, 2012 at 9:47am Thanks for the welcome! I had noticed not many recent posts. but also I saw the techniques and thought i should explore them over the next few weeks. Life is so crazy for me since my husband retired, MIL to care for and one daughter decided mom is not a complete monster. LOL she is the one that has 4 kids! So very busy with family. Quilting not only is my main hobby but gives me excuses to get out of the house away from people demands, wink.
Comment by Brenda Crisci on May 1, 2012 at 1:24am teenagers! OOPS....suppose the store clerk should have told me when I got my tazmania devil slippers.....roflmbo!

Comment by Sandy B /AUS on April 30, 2012 at 8:02pm Sweet Linda - pink pigs - my DD had pink pig fluffy slippers at one stage, then B&W cow slippers and Puppy dog slippers. They were all the rage for teenagers.
