They look interesting Charlotte. When I looked online I found one listed for $129.95 and it was used.

Like Sharon, I have done this type of work before and didn't even know it. One that's posted on my page of the birds in a snowy tree is made like this. Also on some older crewed work I have added bees and dimensional flowers. Have an idea started so will see where it takes me.

Here are the two books I have. If I hadn't been so busy making quilts, I might have looked at these more closely long ago! lol

Lucky me!  LOL I just love it! The thing that I loved about the word you picked was that my kids had this wonderful book called "One Monster After Another" by Mercer Mayer and one of the monsters was the Letter Eating Bombinat! (My oldest son has the book

now to read to his kids).

You really made out great, Cindy.  How fun.

I had a great day, I got to help a friend organize her quilt room. She loved how it turned out.

Hit the jackpot at the used book store today! Found some terrific titles to add to my library. Have some wonderful stumpwork in them. Then found one on making' wee people' from felt and embroidery. Am getting excited now to begin playing.

Got my design figured out ... now to execute it :)

come on girls!  Looks like we just have to embroider over a "bump"  it's just thread, if what we try doesn't look the way we want, just cut it off and try again!  I am still playing with my design, can't wait to get started!
