UFO Block Swap #2 February 2013

do you have any UFO blocks? come on, I know you do... don't feel bad - join this swap
you will send a UFO block to another swap member who will finish it for you (their choice of finish - it could be a pillow cover, wall hanging, mug rug etc.) and send it back to you - check one UFO off your list!
you can still join if you do not have a UFO block - many of us will have extras we can give you LOL - let me know if you have a block and if you have ones to spare
I need your name and whether you have UFO blocks to share or not

Swap Stuff!
- you are to have your unfinished block in the mail to your partner by February 15, 2013 (is that enough time for you to find it?? LOL - you know it's there somewhere)
- it should be a block 12 inches square or less
- it can be a block that you were going to use for a full quilt but never finished - it can be a traditional block or an art piece
- the block itself should be finished in its entirety (not sandwiched or bound though) so that all the person who receives it has to do is decide how to finish it
- those of you on the receiving end of the block decide what to do with it - anything goes but you must finish the project and post it by April 15, 2013 - you could just quilt and bind it; or you could applique on it, or thread sketch; make it bigger, change the shape; make a pillow cover, wallhanging, potholder, mug rug - you decide! I just want us all to get a completed piece back, however big or small.
if I have left anything out or there are any questions, please ask
please save a picture of the block you send and the completed one you receive and forward to me when all is done so I can create an album and hopefully have more people the next time Signed up so far:

May sounds sew much better as I am stumped on fabric to match with Sharons block! She sent me the most amazing star block that you'd absolutely be in awe the way she was able to make each point matched with the pattern on the fabric! I have a few ideas to do and I think she'd enjoy but I just can't seem to get the fabric quite right!

I am not sure Diana - I think it is though. I was thinking your bag would be great for spring - being in those colours. Your clock is in our spare room looking so sweet on the wall. Now I need to make a quilt to match/coordinate. But first new paint on the walls and new carpet - yes this house needs some updating - it has been 20 years since it was painted inside.
