Good Morning Ladies!..I just got back from a weekend trip to Ojai..beautiful weather and I loved the ride from Lancaster, Cal., through the countryside to Ojai!..I definitely will go again but are there any Quilting Stores there.? They said a Ben Franklin store was there..but where?..we stayed at the HummingBird Inn on the Ojai Highway in Ojai..any ideas?..also, anything great to eat or see there?

Hi All, I am finally back!..had a rough last year!..I had foot surgery, then fell and broke my pelvic bone in 4 places and my arm..so I have spent lots of time in bed..good to feel better again!..
Jamee, your Western Washington is wonderful..I love all the colors!..it is just perfect!..especially the fabric in the borders..that was a lot of work! Great job!!

It's beautiful!  I love the fun focal fabric and the sampler quilter blocks.  Do any of your blocks have a story associated with the hop?  Great job!

Thanks Jamee, that is exactly my thinking..I haven't joined the local Quilt Guild yet, because it I has been hard to get away with taking care of DH, then I just had foot surgery, two weeks ago..so at times I do feel isolated..

I am so thankful that you told me about Quiltville..that too has been at fun thing for me and so helpful! I probably have gone overboard in joining all these groups..but you are right.,I keep reaching out for connections, especially now that I have to stay off the foot for 2 months!..that sure is not me..it is a good thing that these pain pills make me rest..or probably that foot would never heal! Thanks for sharing with me!

Have any of you ever done one of Bonnie Hunter's Mystery Quilts? Or what do you suggest for me to get my feet wet?
