Nicola,  my curiosity is killing me to see this table.  I tried typing in "Kit Brenner/TX" but, nothing.  How/where did you do it?  Thanks, Terry

Kit Brenner/TX's Page

Found her page!!!!

This old brain just remembered her name and typed it in and I found it! The pictures of the table are still there and I had my brother "copied" it!

Good luck!!

Hope this helps!

Songstitcher I know the table that you are looking for and after looking through this group I haven't been able to find the pictures either. I got the table from Ikea and showed my brother the pictures and asked him if he could do "that." I will get a picture taken and post it so you can have a look. I think the name of the "quilter" was kit from texas.

I will say that with the base on it it is almost the perfect height for me to cut and pin fabric! I filled the 6 drawers way to quickly!

I will try to get the picture up this weekend but I will let you know it is a busy weekend so maybe early next week!

I have just pcked a sewing table up off of Kajiji that I am hoping to get coppied and made to my speks.  If I can get my manchild pinned down to help I will get some photo;s up.  The table is from the 70's and is a really neat idea.  I thought that it had been modified but the lady who owned it said that it was bought like it was.  The ikea table was wonderful.  They had them on sale last year for half price and I really wanted to get one but we had the worst storm of the winter that weekend.  I'm not even sre they carry them anymore!

Just picked up a little machine that weighs only 8 lbs to take to group with me.  I had bought a new babylock Quest plus because I got a real good deal on it but it is as heavy or heavier than my old Janomie.  This new little machine I picked up is called Anna by Babylock.  It was recommeded by machine repair fellow who quilts and teaches courses as well. It cost around $299 regular price.  I haven't used it yet as I just picked it up and have been too busy with #1 daughter before her departure.  I'm quiet pleased with how easy it is to carry.  I spoke with Al yesterday and he says he hasn't been able to keep them in the shop once the ladies see them.

Well, Songstitcher, I guess it has been quiet on here!  I wish I could say that that was my table but, alas, it was not.  I would like to see it again too, sounds awesome.  I have no idea how my font (?) got so BIG!!!  I apologize for that.

I have been trying to come up with the most economical way to get a drop-the-machine-in table for my Pfaff Grand Quilter machine.  I have the extension table (?) to slide around the sewing surface, but then the whole surface sits so high on my sewing table that I strain to sew and get sore & tired arms and shoulders.  A higher chair would mean trouble reaching the foot pedal.  My thought was to find a solid wood table and customize it - - - somehow?   Or have a table built?  But won't be able to spend much either.  Any advice?  Thanks everyone.

This group has been pretty quiet recently. We need to get talking again.

I have a question.  Some time ago, over a year, someone on one of my groups posted some pictures of their sewing room. I that room was a gate leg style table with drawers mounted on large rollers.  It was a table from IKEA. I really wanted to have another look at it, but can't find the photo.  Can anyone here help?  Thanks in advance.
