Hello all...has been a crazy spring....hope summer better.....I have not finished the quilt but flimsy and backing ready as well as the batting I ordered has arrived.  I have been making other things and every time I look at those three pieces I think.....man, it is too hot to shuffle that quilt around the sewing machine...so, i will put it together in the fall (as we call it - the rainy season.....)

I hope you are all well....a lot of sick people.....very scary at times.

I have all of my pieces made but top not put together.  I usually do that in an October Retreat where I have design space.  Hoping and praying it will happen this year.   My goal is to always have the mystery pieced before the next one comes out.

Cora, you are way ahead of me. My pieces are in their respective numbered containers. Am ready to assemble but first have to make sense of the mixed up parts and get them back to their matched units.

Meanwhile, am going to put the current one together. Having it assembled in rounds makes it easier.

We are all doing okay, enjoying the sunshine. Daughter is raising chicks and ducklings. Painting the coop so it can be assembled. By fall we will have fresh eggs. Sons are building me a quilt studio. Got the floor down yesterdaynow onto framing it. Can't wait!

Hello ladies....I should have added a comment before the pic I guess.  I have a very limited 'stash' so I am laying these out so that they will look random on the quilt...??? Crazy I know but next the pinkish ones...we had some snow here on Vancouver Island couple days ago so still snow on the ground...it will be cool every night until the snow melts off the mountains.  Hope everyone is having a happy March so far! Soon first day of spring!

Hello ladies...I have the 25 done but scrambled my brain with the 1/2 and corner blocks....but fingers crossed...

Wow diane that is a wonderful use for the left over - plus patches! Not sure what I will use mine for....I also have a  counting issue...a couple of mysteries ago I needed 252 HST's...well you can guess how many I wound up with.... my defense I was new to quilting (still need to know more) wound up with 504....still have a few hanging around! I really like your Frolic....hoping mine works!

Happy day everyone....

Hi Jennie. Good to see you as well. Have fun with Frolic. As I learned from experience, be sure to keep each set together. I have a jumbled mess now trying to get things matched back up. Oh well, it will get finished.  Congrats on retirement.

Hello ladies!  It's been a long time since I was able to join the group here, but I am now retired with much more time on my hands.  I started the Frolic Mystery just the other day.  I am working on  clue #3 today.  I am determined to finish the top before the end of March so its full steam ahead.

Cindy....good to see you!
