Lisa, you can always download and print the clues then work on the quilt at your leisure. It's really gorgeous this year and well worth making. I need to get my blocks assembled yet. Can't wait as all I am seeing posted ate fabulous.

Oh Diane, it's wonderful. You are very creative. And what a treasure with your grandmother's blocks in the center. Well done.

Bonnie told us that we would end up with extra units while making this quilt, what she didn't accouint for was the fact I can't count to begin with! I ended up with so many extra units that I decided to do something with them instead of just tossing them in with my other leftovers like I usually so. This is what I came up with. It only took 2 days to make this top. I started by looking in my box of blocks that my grandma made before she died in 1969. I found the 4 center blocks and decided they would work, I just arranged all the leftovers into a medallion style and got it done. I still have a pile of blue geese bodies but they will have to wait for another project.

Hi ladies . Im back its been awhile since i been here. i was going to do this but i got busy and then i think now it would be to late to start to try to catch up. So i think i am just going to observe all the ladies here and see how things go

Diane, it turned out great. I too like the additional border. It  holds it together.

I am still plugging away. My befuddled brain got things twisted up on clues 7 & 8. So am a bit behind. I am thinking about turning my half square triangles into a twisted ribbon border instead of the sawtooth. We shall see.

It is beautiful Diane. I like the additional border and hope to remember that when the time comes.

I only have 13 blocks done and another 5 in the process of being put together.

done! It turned out better than I thought it was going to. I wasn't liking the fabric choices at all but I'm liking it better now that it's all together. I will never be a favorite but at least I don't hate it. I added the blue outer border because I thought the eye needed a place to rest.

Hi everyone.....I have 9 of 25 blocks done....pretty good results! I imagine you are getting lots of rain as well Cindy...soaking around here!

Cora, yes we've gotten snow most of the week. And the wind is the worst!  Depends on what part of the island how much there is. Enough I say. I am ready for warmer, dryer weather. But it does give me more sewing time. Right now I should say pressing time. All my clues are sewn, just not pressed. Am anxious to  get this one together!

Hello everyone...I am just wondering how many mistakes I will make before the first block is done.....fingers crossed! Today I will tackle the bags of clues and hope for the best. I really do not know how BH does these....

Cindy, did you get covered in the snow storm the last two days....my goodness my shoulders are sore from shoveling!
