You are doing a great job on that quilt Amanda.  I agree w/Connie.  Just keep plugging away!

Here is what I have accomplished on my Dream Garden so far, many hours and stitches left to go, but seeing it together gets me re excited about it!

I understand, Linda, I really do try to stick with finishing my older projects, but then new things call me in. I think the 365 blocks are very neat but way too many for me!

I have cut the sashing strips for my green Grandmother's Choice, so I am making a little progress on it.

That is funny that you should mention the big block in the center with the smaller blocks around it for the Civil War blocks. That is my plan for my Dixie Diary blocks, and the Civil War blocks I received in a swap of blocks from the Civil War Sampler by Barbara Brackman. The setting I am planning on using is from the First Ladies quilt book, by Eleanor Burns. I have the setting fabrics, now I just need to finish the other Dixie Diary blocks and then I can start assembling it.

I keep wanting to finish some of the quilts, only I start another. Did see idea to make a big block in the center then add the twelve block around it. May do that for my Civil War blocks and use the block  center from 365. I have learn a lot from doing the 365, but 365 seem to be lots of work and slow. That quilt would be one  VERY  heavy quilt. Not sure if I will now make every one. Been working on cleaning up scrapes into table runners and making some 4th of July quilts. Have one quilted and one in the frame and another in bits and pieces. It has been fun to work through a mystery book or  I have used  one of CT downloads of the week.

Thanks, Linda! I hope you have a nice time in Florida, good luck on all your projects!

It was a busy week in Florida. My husband told me to take my sewing machine so I would not have withdrawal from not being able to sew. I was only going to do hand sewing. Did work on my KC Star, that is now over three years old. I got half the stems done. My hand wear out fast. Still don't want to do it on the machine. I got my Bonnie Hunter quilt quilted before we left. I wish now I had done feathers in some areas. I was trying out new ideas. The 356 blocks is not happening. My eyes wear out fast. Hope everyone has a good week.

Amanda it is neat that your blue quilt was shown on the blog. I tried to add a comment there but I think I have to have a cell phone account to show anything on that site. Just got the cell phone and learning how to use it.

I really like her blog, and enjoy seeing what everyone makes on the Flickr pages that go with each of her block of the month/week programs.

Block #4 for the Westering Women BOM is up now.
