Fabulous, Barbara.  And I love Santa and his Reindeer.  They are NOT caribou; they are reindeer!!!  they  may taste the same, but that's a different issue.

All of the blocks are availabel for free download. I'm like you, Agnes, I have them all downloaded but haven't made any yet.

Here's my December Little

All quilted and even bound. I used the foldover method to bind it so the backing becomes the binding, too.

Block shuffle? That sounds like something that would make my hips hurt, Barbara. Don't tell Mary Alice, she will get hooked on another quilt along. She cracks me up.

Get busy, Barbara, now that we kicked you off the couch, you have to accomplish something. Now to get my butt off the couch.

What's Mods block shuffle, Barbara?

Happy happy. I found the Dec Little kit again. Yay. Now to make it up. I think it will go very quickly. I also got all the Moda block shuffle pages printed out and sorted. I don't know if I'll ever get them made but it's a neat idea.

OH don't do that, Kathleen, it  might hurt a bit. I know what you mean, 'how-could-I-have-done-that?????????' I have done that a time or two.

What a great story, Cindy! I bet it was hard wrestling with that batting, backing, and top. You were great for fixing it, and someone is snuggling in it right now getting a hug from home.

Sis in law, Mr. Bullfrog and I went to the quilt shop to pick up DD1's quilt. The quilting is absolutely gorgeous. I am sure she will love the quilt. It's in batiks, of course, her favorite. I think she got me hooked on them.

I need some quilting time. Hopefully tomorrow I can get in there. I need to work on my Itty Bitty quilts. I am behind.

Cindy, that's why I figure I should tackle this mistake. I've read on many blogs about situations like yours, and Agnes's, so I'm gonna pull up my granny panties and give it a go! It'll be good practice ☺

At least you caught it now. I had a quilt loaded on my long arm, quilted the first pass, stopped and rolled for the next pass and wouldn't you know it, starring me in the face was a block totally twisted 90°. Now that was a nightmare to fix, but it had to be done as it was on a project for military quilts. The overall pattern wouldn't flow had I not fixed it. Funny how you work on something so long things look right even if they're not. I think our minds eye knows what is supposed to be and just makes it look right. Then after we've not looked at it for a while, bam it mocks us until we fix it. And yes, the quilt had to come off the long arm, offending block fixed, then put back on all the while wrestling not just the quilt top but the batting and backing as it was already partially quilted. Exhausting job to say the least. But it's off being used in the far reaches of a deployment somewhere on the other side of the world. Now that makes it worth my time to make it right. Someone has a warm hug from home.
