Good use for the pool table Debbie! Do you keep your cutters in the side pockets, ;0)? Love your cabinets, work spaces and corner sewing table!
Here are a few pics of my sewing space. Notice the pool table turned cutting/pressing table. Also the one picture under the stairs storage, notice the orange zucchinis.lol The pool table is on its way out as soon as my LAQ machine and frame arrive. Then everything will be changed. I will post pics when that happens. Oh, and excuse the mess.
Thanks Terry (and Paula) for all the wonderful pics! I love seeing how everyone solves storage and organization issues. I think we are all so clever and looking at items that can be repurposed for our sewing needs.
Thanks Terry for the pegboard pic - I'm very envious of that one! And now I understand about the thread - what a handy solution to just having loose storage (i.e. - dusty thread)
Currently I'm mid-move…moving my sewing room from upstairs to downstairs. Still needing the storage rack for my bins and plastic shoeboxes, and then the upstairs bookshelf can become a dedicated bookshelf, instead of books lurking around all over the house. LOL.
I guess I've posted my after cleaning pics first, then my before pics. But, I'm sure you can figure that out!
Suzanne, I have hung my sewing thread boxes, did you think that I meant boxes for big cones of thread? I just saw better hooks than I have (for thread boxes) at Walmart. My cutting table has wooden legs & sides, so simple "L" hooks work great for my rulers. I did take some before and after cleaning pics, we'll see if I can post them!
Paula, thanks for sharing. I am so envious. One whole room just for you. And I am not one to talk about whether or not you are addicted.
Since this picture was taken, the books have been replaced by more fabric. I am not addicted, I am not addicted.
I cover my LA with a flannel sheet. Looks like a dead body is under there! haha
The pink shelf is my $5.00 garage sale bargain. I painted it pink to match the curtains and still need to finish the front curtain on the bottom. I have that fabric and it is pink with big fat white polka dots. yum
