Quilt With Us

Sitting here looking at the photo of this quilt, I have to say I like it. We quilters often hone in on what we did wrong - and I made a big mistake in the assembly of these blocks - but it's okay. And I won't even cringe if you take note of my mistake. I'm learning to let go of perfection - and be thankful that I did my best and that the recipient likes it. This quilt is a tardy grad gift for my brother's step-son, David.

Thanks, Tanyel - that's mighty nice of you - a good encouragement.  :)

Lovely! I didn't see the mistake and neither should anyone else. It is not a mistake, it is what makes you quilt different and unique.

Thanks, Mary.  Would've fixed mistake but didn't see it until I had all borders on, so I just let it go.  I won't tell since you don't see it :)  Have a blessed day.
