Hello Gayle. I am glad you liked the quilting. Well, my quilting is by no means perfect, that's for sure. I just keep trying things and since I haven't mastered feathers yet like I want to, I opted for an easier, fun design. I almost bought a Tin Lizzie but didn't want to drive one hour away for service since we had a HQ rep here. I wanted to buy local to help out a local business. However, if I did it again, I would rethink things because I love my HQ, but I do not like the rep. Anyway, keep trying. I will tell you what I have done twice and you would have thought I learned the first time. I was quilting a panto and thought it was lined up. The first time was on my daughter's king size quilt. I happened to look and the WHOLE row was half way on top of the other all the way across the quilt. And to make it worse, it was batik fabrics and the thread just blended right in. I about died! The second time I did it, I caught it about 12 inches into the panto. So, I have spent lots of time ripping myself! I keep thinking everything has to be perfect, but nothing is perfect in this world, not even my quilting. LOL
I love the quilting on this piece. It is covered but not crowded. I just haven't been able to get the hang of quilting this way. I have a "Tin Lizzie" but don't try to use it enough because I spend more time ripping than I did sewing. lol
