I have been quilting for 3 years, started with a beginners class doing a sampler quilt which I planned to stitch by hand. I have completed many quilts since then, but the first one is still waiting to be finished. My goal is to become a long arm quilter.
I'm disabled & do not work so if my back allows it then I sit & sew, I like to keep busy. When we travel I'm always doing some sort of hand embroidery . I cut out a "SWEET 16" quilt pattern in shades of purples & chocolates for my grt. niece (240 pieces) so now to start that, will get it machine quilted by a friend. I'm anxious to see what this is going to look like as I can't vision it :( The purse is real easy a pattern of my own with left over scraps.
Good Afternoon Denise, I read your post on the CHQ group and came over to ask you if you had done any other Crabapple Hill quilts? I can see that you have done at least one VERY beautiful quilt if that Over the River is yours! Wow, great job. I have just started Snow Days and am new to stitching. When I saw a picture of that quilt in a magazine I instantly fell in love and knew I had to have it! Well, it has been about a year but I have finally jumped in and started. I think red and white for colors sounds very pretty, I googled images for Snow Days quilt but did not see it done in many different colorways. Hope your pattern arrives soon, Sandy
