Spammer is gone

Please be assured the spammer called "Iwannanewjob" was eliminated first this this morning (pacific time). Many of you contacted us right away - thank you so much! It's nice to know we are watching out for each other!

All posts, groups, friends of this spammer should have been eliminated, but please let me know if you find a trace of her again.

Features upgrade

There are several new features when you view photos now. Check them out! You can adjust the speed of a slide show, see info about the photo without having to click on it, see thumbnails, and you can make the slide show a pop-up window so you can make it bigger.

OK, what is up with the revamping of the site? Suddenly the blogs are all coming up in duplicate. When I enter a comment on a discussion group I am being asked about following my answer. Even when I click that I do not want to follow, I am now getting e-mails for everything, even those I had listed as not following the group. I know, I am getting old and hate changes when I am in my comfort zone, but I definitely do not like these changes! My mail box gets full (as you know, some of our groups are very talkative). Thanks for listening (or is it reading?).

Quick Questions. I use the CT blog and have it posted on my business website so all my customers can link to it. My questions is: Can I post on commercial stuff like a pattern sale or special pricing for a holiday event? I don't want to take advantage of any admin rules or offend any bloggers and felt I should get a clear idea of what my do's and don'ts are. Thanks debbie

OK I finally got it back. You have no idea how much I wanted to see everything. It would open in Internet Explorer but we don't use that. I had to go way into Mozilla to find the problem. So it was the browser. Thanks for your patience.

Thanks Karen. No it is not working. I did everything you said to try and all my settings say I should be viewing the icons. I am on Facebook and AGplaythings and they both work with my browser. Is there anyway to delete my account and come back on with the same e-mail address?

Question...Beginning yesterday, I have not been receiving my group messages in my regular email. I can't tell if someone has posted to my groups unless I am on QWU. Can you tell me why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Hello - Thank you for the great quilting site! I just have one question, and that is - How does a group get featured on the Main Page? I started a new group for Kansas City Quilters (hoping to meet some locals in and around the KC area) and was hoping to get more attention as alot of people don't search the group listing often. Is there a way to get on the main page for awhile - the group is Kansas City Quilters! Thank you - Vic

is it possible to fix the chat here so only those actually in there wanting to chat show on the list of folks. now it shows everyone who is online on the site at the time. very weird when you go there and say something and no one replys..its cuz they arent really in chat paying attention. i hope that makes some sense. in the meantime i might go find ning and see if can work out if that is even possible. only you in CT QWU admin can fix it if it is fixable. thanks heaps if you can fix this wee problem.

I am back from camping and o one wrote to me. Is there someone out there that can help me? I am not sure if I did it or what but I don't have a profile picture any longer and neither does any of my friends. Please help.
