It all started because I fed the mama cat. Believe me, she was wild! I could only watch her from the window, and if I tried to go out the door she would scat! It was not good because I knew they could never be rounded up and if they were they would all be put to sleep. They would eventually leave but that mama cat would keep coming back when she got pregnant! Even though I quit putting out food. A cat is a survivor! But I learned a lesson - never feed a ferrel cat!
Now, Cookie, my Siamese mix also began life as a wild kitty. I would discover her under our spa, a tiny little crying kitty all alone....I guess mama abandoned her or she scrambled off on her own from somewhere. This was way before our black cat experience. But, anyway, I rigged up a trap and caught her, brought her in, and against all her wishes, tamed her. Took awhile though. She is about eight years old.
Yes, I'm still seeing double posts and our trouble ticket is still under review. I don't know why it's taking so long, or why it only happens sometimes. Sorry! Hopefully soon.
Thank you for your kind post about the help you have had from chiropractors. The pain is from fibromyalgia and the muscles so sensitive a chiropractor would set me back for months, I'm afraid. There is really only one person I trust to work on my muscles, a PT from South Dakota. She is so careful and patient and works so gently. I hate the thought of having to find someone else now that I live in MN. But I have to bite the bullet and look I guess. I forgot to call the Dr's office and when I remembered I thought, oh well nothing will happen until Monday anyway. So I'll just call in on Monday for a referral. Fibromyalgia is a very strange disease/syndrome (i'm not sure what they call it now). It doesn't respond well to traditional pain meds or even tylenol, ibuprofen, or aspirin. Very little works. I hope the new drugs in the pipeline will be approved soon--and that they work well. What I am taking works but I can only take so much without having serious side effects. What a conundrum!
At any rate I've told you TMI I'm afraid. But I do appreciate your concern and your thoughts.....Dolly
