Hi Alana,  I'm new on here and am just looking at some of the quilts and yours are beautiful.  Love the puzzle one!  Was it hard?

Alanna, I am so glad you liked the quilt.  It was quite a challenge, for reasons out of my control, and it was awful having to start over when it was nearly finished---I went around for a week pointing out to my family my maturity and stoicism.  They nervously agreed. ;)  I used solids from Kona cottons in the quilt, with three shades of each color.  If you Google Tetris Quilt 2, you will find the version I used.  It isn't really a pattern, but it isn't hard either, just 1/4 square triangles.  I increased the size of the squares to 5" (finished--started with 6 1/2" squares).  A half yard of each fabric gave me more than enough--I have a bunch of scrappy pieces left over for another project.

Hi I made this purple quilt for my nieces graduation gift. It was fairly easy to do just had to use a design board to get a look at the color flow of the designs.
