Still quilting for my life and sanity these days! I am struggling with some spinal issues and we are trying to decide how to proceed without having to do a full spinal fusion...(OUCH!) Even though it hurts to quilt, I can't afford to stop....It is therapy for me! I have finally found and joined a local Guild, and am delighted to finally have some new quilting friends. My guild does baby quilts for a local hospital to reward new Mom's who join and remain in the Drug Free Mom-n-Me program. It's sure to be good to be a Quilter!

Hi Andrea - remember I said I was coming to the north shore - well here I am - came in yesterday - it is just to let you know - I went to Mililani today and they still have there fabric at the walmart - I only bought 3 templates - with turtles and flower - but will go back for sure for some fabric - any other suggestion in Honolulu or around for quilting store - thanks again for your help

Mahalo Andrea - I I remember buying fabric and books of Hawaiin quilt up on the North shore in Halaewai... or close to it - also there was a Walt mart in Milano? that had some.... I have to find my map in order to remember the name but I saw a shop while my DH was driving on I83 I think in a town wright after Lai on the east side.... I will try to find it again this year - we will be there 3 weeks from Feb. 16 to March 7 - we usually rent a car and go around the island a couple of times..... - actually my picture comes from the airport - my DH took it last year.. it was the only one I had of me.... take care - will keep in touch
Hi Andrea - so glad you joined - I started mine back in June with everybody else - but had to stop for a few months.... - but I still peek at everyone's blocks - so glad I catched you - is there any good shop on Oahu island... - been going to the north shore for the past 3 years and again in February - but haven't found any special..... where are you exactly - take care
