Thank you for your concern Andrea. There have been a series of medical problems in the family which all take time to sort out. Every so often my lung problem comes back to haunt me which is probably what you heard about.
One sister in in an Alzheimer unit, another one just had a heart attack - and so it goes as we get older. Fortunately we also have a great grandson who is such a joy for all of us. He is a very happy baby and such fun to be around. It all evens out doesn't it?
I have not been doing many quilts but do get a bit done from time to time. I am looking forward to it slowing down a bit more as I have way too much fabric sitting there.
How about you? What are you doing these days? I do miss the QC and hope to join back in again soon.
Your Quilts are Beautiful!! Not sure which one I like the best. Your Flower Quilt is just awesome. I've always wanted to do a Maple leaf quilt. I guess it will be on my list to do.
i wished you lived closer too, andrea! i'd love to do your quilting! did something happen with the quilter you've been using? you could try posting a message on the main page asking for referrals in your area.
i gotta get my handsome boys to sit still before i can get a picture of them. sometimes easier said than done! hahahaha!!
Andrea , I am north of Peterbough..
I have been to the Barrie area also.

Andrea, you do beautiful work!!! Love your sewing room too....mine is past due for a cleaning...but it is in the works.
Enjoy your Sunday.
Nice to hear from you Andrea, stay warm and safe! Carol and her husband bought a house and is fighting with the government on settling on her other home which needs to be demolished. She does not want to move back so they are in town now. Starting over when you were ready for retirement soon is hard to take but she's a trooper. I haven't chatted with her in a month or two but hope she'll be sewing soon. Take care.
Thank you, Andrea,
I usually make easy quilts because I give them away. It was more challenging for me to make a more complicated quilt. The LAQ from New York State did such a fabulous job! I'm so happy with it.
Andrea, just thought I would tell you what wonderful work you do and sooooo much of it. wow you are a busy lady.
Hi Andrea,
I came on your site to see your new purse! It is so cute. Your sewing room is so interesting. Everywhere I look I see inspiration and creativity. Your quilts are so amazing. You have mastered all the quilting skills - beading, applique, embellishment, intricate piecing, doll making, and great colour choices. Your family must be so proud of your quilting achievements.
Thank you Anderea. I did a google search and found the pattern. It is a bit bigger than I had hoped - thought I could do it for a tote bag. Still I do know where to get it should I change my mind.
