Oh I see Cora has already posed the question that is on a lot of minds of late. Whether it's our crazy winter weather, or not much else going on quilting wise, some of us are ready for your next mystery quilt. No pressure of course, just curious. We love following along each week putting the clues together. Living the new fabric lines as well. So fun to see them up into one of your quilts.
Hello Ann! Christmas will be upon us before we know it! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours.
Question.....of course....will you be doing a mystery quilt 2017 quilt along? I guess it is a little early to ask, but.....some of us need to KNOW! Haha....I hope so!
Good Morning, Ann! Recently, I purchased a BOM kit from Craftsy, Lynette Jenson's Garden Charms, and was reading and researching the comments of others who are making this project while waiting for the kit. Did you know people are still talking about and recommending your Perfect Points Quilt Along? Thank you for the time and effort that went into that quilt along, and the mystery quilts, I've always admired you for your attention to detail and complete instructions.

Hello Ann
For the stuffing, I don't think it needs to be 100% cotton, On the last piece I did, I used cotton acrylic blend, worked fine. If you're able to find knitting cotton no. 8 should work fine, even if it's blended with acrylic. I've seen sites where they sell 100% acrylic for stuffing boutis. It's about the thickness of the cottton, knowing that when you stuff the cotton is double, so if you can only find a thinner cotton, cut 2 lengths, put them together in a needle or use the lasso method, & then they will be doubled to go into the motifs & tunnels. My boutis with the dragonfly, I used a grey yarn. Hope this helps.
Thankyou Ann for your kind comments on my boutis. The boutis of Dec. 2012 (the last one I did) is about 30 inch square & it took me 6 months, working on it daily to complete. It isn't difficult, but it can be time consuming depending on how detailed the pattern is!! I didn't use baptiste as I didn't have any on hand when I decided to do it, so I just used a light weight cotton. I haven't used roving, (had to look it up to see what it was lol). On this one I used a cotton wool. On another small project I used wool.
Hope to see your finished project when you get around to doing it!
