Morning Barb, You asked about my favorite quilt shops, well the one closest to us is in Spencerport and I have taken a couple classes there. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. It's called Betty's Quilting, Etc. I would have to say Ivy Thimble is a favorite and there is one a ways down route #36, that I like really well, but sorry can't remember the name at the moment!
Have a great day!
Welcome to the site and the New York State Stitchers group!
I started quilting pretty much full time when my Hubby retired. I usually tell people it's kept me out of jail for man-slaughter! LOL My last job was only supposed to be PT at Macy's but ended up as FT. I asked my husband, now that we were both working, if I could get a cleaning lady. His reply was a "pfft, for what?" I haven't worried about cleaning since. I figured that if he had to ask something like that, I wasn't going to bother! Especially now that there are two of us at home and ONE of us tends to leave the newspapers strewn where-ever he read them! LOL Besides, mine has always been a rather independent sort (hence the threat of man-slaughter) and is only underfoot if I'm doing something constructive like cooking! ; D
I'll be rooting for you!
