Barbara, I was checking to see what's new on Connecting Threads, English Paper Piecing, etc. And look...I run into you!!! I would love to see some of your beautiful quilts on your page. Hope to see you sometime at Heart 'n Hand Quilt Guild meetings.
Thanks for the kind kudos regarding the QDO committee. They get better each year as problems are sorted out, and new ideas emerge. Thank you for adding me to you friend list. I'm not good at this electronic highway either. Hope to improve so I can get ahead in communicating with the quilt world.
Having taken care of my mother for the past 2 1/2 yrs., she passed away March 6. Now, I plan on getting back into gardening, and finishing my UFO'S. Looking forward to QDO.
Thank you for your response. I would like to start at least one of the blocks this year. I have a lot of other projects between now and June, but want to make a big effort to work on it starting this summer. Thank you for the insight into the fusible bonding agent. I will be touching back with you later.
Your niece suggested I contact you regarding McKenna Ryan quilts. I can't seem to figure out how to do email on this site, so I hope you get this. I have two M. Ryan sets (At Home in the Woods and Calling me Home) and I am intimidated. Can you offer hints or suggestions?
Barb - I see that you took me up on joining this club. I'm not sure how to do all the comments and threads but that's ok. I'm getting to know some Oregon quilters and if we get to Sisters this year, hope we can meet up with them one day just for fun.
Hi Barbara, Since you're in Louisville, do you go to the Paducah show? I've been to the Intl. Quilt Festival in Chicago and have wanted to do Paducah but by the time I decide to go, everything's full. Just wondered if you've been and how you liked it. Thanks, Debbie
