Let's see, what can I tell you about me? I am a retired RN that leves on a small farm in the cnetral USA. Quilting and machine embroidery are two of my favorite things to do along with cooking, gardening & church activities. My kids have not blessed me with grandkids yet and I may never see that as they are getting older now. I am enjoying all the wonderful web friends I am making on this site.

Thanks for the info....as you can see I'm new on this project.  After I wrote I did see the info.  Guess it was just "too plain to see".  Have ordered the fabric - Looking forward to working on this.  You have some beautiful photos!!  You are a very busy lady!

Hi! Sherrie Roberts,  New to this Group.   I saw you have a recipe for Chocolate Zucchini Bread?   Have you ever put Bacon in it too?   I would like your recipe.  If it is allowed.  Love that Quilt on the bed.  Here is a Block for a Quilt I am working on.  Will be months before it is finished.

Hooked on 'Littles'

Hi Everyone. It's been ages and ages since I blogged. Recently CT added a monthly 'little quilt' quilt along. I was already getting hooked on smaller quilts so signed up. It's been very addictive. Mari has posted here on the main page when each new project comes out. Here's my progress so far.

Help... How do I bind an inside corner? Am trying to bind a cross shaped piece. I can do the outside corners but am stumped as to how to get the inside corners flat.

Well, I got up this AM with every intention of getting some sewing done. Then I went to the garden... Ended up picking tiny tomatoes, sweet corn ( just 7 ears)..then I looked at my little peach tree. Picked up a basket of windblowns. The rest are just short of being ready. So I made a cobbler and a pie and what? It's past noon already. I missed my PBS sewing shows - again - I really love to watch those and dream of the projects that I will complete. Oh, I still have to check those darn summer… Continue
