I am happily married and enjoy quilting, cruising, car trips, reading, and visiting family. I am quite easy-going and love spending time with family, relatives, and friends. My husband was in the Armed Forces so we have done a lot of traveling. I was born in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia and my sisters, Mother and relatives (most of them) live there. I love to be outside in spring, summer, and fall. My dream is a quilting cruise one of these days.....

Thank you Bette, that is very kind of you. I have done some large quilts, but really enjoy smaller projects more, as they are easier to quilt and also finish up quicker. So I can go on to something new.
Always something new to work on.
Bette, thank you so much for the b-d wishes. I was out of town visiting my dear sister for 10 days and I have been catching up since I got back home. Can't believe how long it has been since I went to QWU -- back in the grove and I will be posting some pictures of the Pigeon Forge, TN quilt show and our sister sewing projects.
Yes, Bette, we did rescue Reina (my morning star shine) 1 year ago February. We had just lost Sophie over Christmas and we felt Tucker needed a companion. Reina is a real sweetheart. Tucker passed away in January this year and we are looking to rescue another dane. Reina would love a companion but she has some health problems right now that we need to get through. As you know great danes do not have long life spans as other doggies do but our heart is in that breed. We also have a rescue cat who is 11+ years old and she rules the house. She came to us very fat and still is. I call her CAT.
Bette, I'll be at the show with my very longtime multi-talented needlework friend, my DH and possibly with my DIL and DGD. We are going to get there early because my DH and friend are on a quest and want to hit the merchant's mall as early as possible. How about heading to the concession seating area about 11:45 and I'll try very hard to spot you and wave you over, okay?
