Hi Bet. I looked at the site and missed a couple of letters. It's www.3dogdesignco.com .
My farm is not very big. Where I live is 35 acres of pasture that my son & brother & nephew use as a hunting ground ( deer & turkey). Then my son lives on the acreage that we grow corn or soybeans on. He just finished up the picking yesterday. We had corn this year.
Hope you have a wonderful day & weekend.
Take care and God bless.
Barb
Hi Bet,
We are having what they call 'Indian Summer' this week. It's gorgeous. The leaves are starting to change, 80 degrees in the daytime and 50 degrees in the night. How perfect is that! The farmers are making great progress on the harvesting. I have a farm that my older son farms for me - no animals except cats and dogs. I'd love to have a few chickens though. Am blessed that a friend gives me fresh eggs. I have a small garden that is just about done for the season. There are some tomatoes still and the brussels sprouts are about ready to pull and put up.
Have you done any block of the month projects? They really give you an idea of different blocks and techniques. There are some free 'bom' projects on line. I'm working on a bed sized BOM that is almost to the end now. It's gonna be very pretty. Today I did a block from www.3dogdesign.com that had over 70 pieces in a 12 " block. I thought I was doing great until I looked at the finished product and saw that I had done the cornerrs wrong, so I had to 'unsew' four of the pieces and then redo them. Guess I had a dyslexia attack-LOL. This is a free pattern and is pretty challenging but fun.
Hope you have a great weekend.-Barb
Hi Bet,
Thanks for the compliment on my quilts. Hope you don't feel too pressured by the groups. Anytime you feel like joining in the chatter, we'd love to hear from you. I tend to get too wordy, I think.
I live in central part of Illinois. I've been to Fla. on vacations. Love the ocean but not the heat & humidity.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for befriending me.--Barb
