About Me
Love to quilt, read and garden when I can. I am a sports nut also, Football, Nascar, and Baseball. I have 3 children (grown) and 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. On 7/5/07, I had surgery and something went terribly wrong. As a result I am on oxygen 24/7 and in a wheelchair. The horrors people have told about doctors in Florida are true. This "surgery" forced me into retirement (disability), but that is the really good part, I no longer have to work! Now I can quilt, watch football and Nascar! Yea! The downside is on my daughter (Pamela), I had to move in with her. She is a nurse, so I am in really good hands.

cutting fabric WRONG!

How many times can you cut a 2&1/4 X 4 rectangle wrong? Well, I can do it 3 times in a row. Maybe I need to turn up my oxygen level cause my poor little ole brain can't handle the pressure. I am gonna stop for tonight and get up tomorrow refreshed, yep that is what I will do. Wonder how many other quilters can do this trick?

Hey Bev,
My husband and I go to our local Pocono racetrack every year. And my fav driver is Jeff Gordan and Carl Edwards. My two favorite pastimes are Quilting and Sports. Im working now but off for the weekend and looking forward to watching the race and quilting a wall hanging.

Glad you,re enjoying making them Bev , I find they are great projects , I have 2 side panels ready to quilt for another bag , this one has wild geese on the sides I tried a method I found online for making a one seam wild geese block so I used it to make the side panels , I want to try to get them quilted sometime today but I have a couple of errands to take care of so maybe after I get back .
We had a whole day of Ice pellets yesterday & everything is coated with ice this morning . I sure hope you,re right about Spring coming soon , I,m more than ready to see it , If you check the book that came with your camera it should give instructions on how to download pics

My quilting day was productive, and went by too quickly. Did get a couple of "cheaters" sandwiched and pieced together, so I can hand stitch while watching TV. As for the races, didn't mind Biffle winning, but Kyle busch, uugh! don't care for him at all. His attitude gets me. too obnoxious. Shut the Tv off as soon as he crossed the finish line. I refuse to watch him take his bow and give interviews. So, when Kyle Busch wins you can bet I'm not watching any post race shows!

Thanks for your nice comment about my tote bag , If you would like a copy of the pattern just send me your email address & I,ll scan & send you a copy . The block is an orphan block I had in my stash & I cant remember the name of it . My email address is meduffy63@yahoo.com The original pattern has a block pattern included that is nice too but I just used that block because I already had it made & it saved me time
