I can't believe I haven't posted pictures since last November. Wow! Where does the time go. I just uploaded about 26 photos. Things are okay with me and my family. Just getting old and it's harder to get around.
I bought myself a new hat to sleep in. Yep, the head was getting cold. I bought a black stocking cap. Mick now calls me Gansta…

Hey Billie, you have commented a couple of times about my Joey it is so sweet of you to do and to have him on your desktop for a bit was sweet too Like you most of these kitties and my pups are in Rainbow heaven. I went without for 2 years and now have a rescue Chihuahua he is 9 and needs a home to retire in. I love this grumpy little man he is very entertaining. Thanks for visiting.
BillieBee, I hope all is well and you have just been super busy these past months.
Have a great day! Take care!
Hugs!
BillieBee, haven't seen you on the site in awhile........... How are you doing? Keeping very busy I guess..........
Hope all is going well with you and the family and all your quilting also!
Hi BillieBee,
I'm glad that you liked my quilt. Thank you. I have all the blocks collected for another of Joanne's BOM quilts - Oriental Splendour.
Billie enjoy he was a sweetheart...my love..I understand about furbabies visiting us for a while, with all the quilting you do I can see there would not be much time left. Plus I see you on line in so many places!! but always happy to see what you have to show us. Your blog, blocks and your videos are fantastic!
Billie, I love your pictures. You do beautiful work!! Such perfection, gorgeous!!
I read your comment about your sewing machine eating your block, and I have to agree that it is frustrating. I use a tip that a fellow quilter gave me when I first started quilting. She said to fold a rectangle of left-over material in half so that it is about 2" by 3". Use it to sew on when you finish a seam like assembly line sewing. Then you can use scissors to cut off your block from the scrap of material behind your pressure foot, bring the block to the front of your machine and start sewing from the scrap of material right onto your block again. It works just like assembly-line sewing except that you use this scrap of folded fabric and you can avoid having to start sewing a seam from nothing. Anyway it works for me and prevents jumbled up threads that I get sometimes when I start a seam as well.
Good luck.
