My picture was from a birthday party for a friends 60th. We all had boas, hats and crazy stripped ties, and yummy catered food. Looked like a bunch of old folks in a speak easy...LOL.....but we had a GREAT time.

I'm a Mother of two wonderful grownup kids, a son Brett 39 and a daughter Shelley 35....wow where did the time go. With that came three beautiful granddaughters, Beth 7, Gracie 9, and Isla 10 and one handsome grandson Dakota who is turning 6 in April. I'm truly blessed. And of course, last but not least my wonderful husband of 43 years referred to by the grandkids as Big Mick.

I started quilting a several years ago as something I wanted to do before I die. I now have enough stash and kits to cover a fewwwwww lifetimes.....grin.

Casual Comfort Top Finished



Casual Comfort is free pattern using Hearth and Home collection....mostly. Nothing more new for me. I'll be catching up on my BOM and SBS. Only thing I'll start new this year is taking my Grandmother's embroidery blocks and putting them into a quilt.
