Now working 22 hours a week, Monday ,Tues.&Thurs.and 7 hrs on Wed.. Although, the money is a lot less, I love being home more to be able to spend lots more time in my sewing/quilting room! Besides I have to support my "habit".
I have been very slow getting photos up on the site lately. Hope you enjoy the ones that have made it.....
Our granddaughter & daughter have moved into their own apt and we are still making trips there to help get them settled in. Savannah loves to see all the quilts + I make and always tells me they are "beautiful Grammy"! My biggest supporter, can you tell?
Savannah will hopfully turning into a "budding" quilter herself these days!
I am sorry to have taken so long to respond, but I am new to chat boards and don't always know how to respond to friendly members. I have been quilting for about three and a half years and really love making purses. I have some unfinished projects but find myself inspired by fabrics that are so pretty they are just calling out to me to make something, so I feel as if I will never get those other things completed. I am still hoping to find some of the Bookish fabric from CT that came out some time ago. I only need a half yard of three of the prints, but no one seems to have any for sale. I joined a book club when I retired and like to make the Vintage Book Bag pattern for each new member and that print was so adorable I wanted to use it-but no luck. Enjoy the heat wave, stay in the air conditioning and take care Carol.
Love looking at your project photos.. Rain/storming in Manitoba, opportunity to get some sewing done. Been sewing long time, but 1st time making shorts for myself. Be cutting a few more pairs, heat wave for nxt few weeks.
Thank you, Carol, I appreciate your contact. I have been so busy, I have not been on the site, nor have I got my Jan or Feb quilts started yet. I printed out the patterns and picked out the fabric and they are still sitting in my QTD (quilting to do) pile. LOL I will get to them this month, at some point. I will make sure to post them when finished. Have a great day, Jean from Oregon
