Can't wait to see some of you creations and I'm sure that we'll be chatting!!
Hi Catherine! Welcome to our friendly (and talented) group of quilters! It's a fun -and chatty- group that will inspire you...and even make you chuckle! These ladies have such a great sense of humor! Looking forward to hearing from ya! Happy quilting!
Welcome to the group! Sounds like you're no stranger to the A-P gals!! I'm sure if you worked in the lunch room, you knew everyone in town and everyone in town knew you! That's the way it was in my small town school in Adel.
Welcome to the group Katie! Have any those awesome rolls that were served when we had roast beef/potatoes at school? Those were the BEST!! I've eaten lunch at my daughters school, and it isn't nearly as good as what we had in Aplington! Guess it's time to say THANK YOU for all the delicious lunches that you served!
Hi Catherine! I'm also one of the gals that grew up in Aplington. I also lived a few miles north of Austinville growing up, that's how Wendy S. and I became best friends. I remember you in the school cafeteria! I now live in Marion, near Cedar Rapids with my hubby and 2 kids. My parents live in Aplington and my brother lives on the farm where I grew up with his wife and 4 kids.
Hope you consider joining the Iowa Quilters Group, it's been fun to chat with other quilters, especially when you find someone you know!
