Cathy, Boy, do I hear you when you say what your kids or whoever says. My daughter let me know in a nice way, that one quilt was enough. I have a friend who I gave a king to and she tells me over and over how much she loves it and the joy it brings her. We quilters do know the joy it brings us to see another one completed.

I use the Juki as well with one of the original Handi-Quilter frames that I have done much modifying to. You do a wonderful job on your quilts

Hi Cathy, I just looked at all your quilts and they are fantastic. You have such a variety and all have such great colors. I love the 3rd one with the rope effect making a very neat design. Did you have a pattern for that?

Cathy, Have you ever checked out this website - www.quilterscache.com - It's a great website for getting patterns for blocks. I'll be ordering a Carol Doak book soon! Thanks!

Thanks Cathy, I may have to try! I have loved the Mariners Compass for so long! Maybe just a pillow top to start...I'll have to get some books by Carol Doak - don't think I have any of hers - probably should look before I buy more books! Thanks for the info.

Hi, Cathy.

Glad you joined the business group. We share ideas about how to get a business started or how to be successful in one that's already established. Some people just want to sell what they make and need ideas.

I agree that you have to be careful about copyrights. I am using blocks that are traditional with sashing strips to join them, and I am also experimenting with some squares and rectangles to make my own designs.

Hope the group will give you additional ideas. Welcome!

I know it's 80-90's+ here in California right now too. So working on a Christmas quilt is funny right now! :)

Your Celtic quilt is so very beautiful!

Your quilts are wonderful. You have accomplished a lot in only four years!! It takes me about 4 years to do a celtic knot quilt and look at all you have done.
Your Holly Hobby quilt looks like it has the same colors as one of my celtic knot quilts. I have both of them posted on my page.
Love all your colors
Do know the feeling of keeping the grandkids. We used to get our two for three months at a time.
