About Me
I LOVE quilting!!! I'm trying to make a living at it, but it isn't going so well, but I still seem to keep busy. I've done several graduation quilts with pictures, I've made a few T-shirt & picture quilts and I've made T-shirt quilts. I've put a few of pictures of my T-shirt quilts on this site. If anyone would like one, you can contact me through my email. I check it 3-4 times a day.

I have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. My husband and I finally have an empty nest (for the past couple years, yeah!) My grandchildren are keeping me busy between track meets, baseball and softball right now!

My profile picture is a picture of my DH (Bill) and myself at Madrid's Local Park...

Hi Chris, Whatcha ya been doin' lately? Quilting, I hope. Looking thru your quilts again and saw these 2 handsome young grandsons. Aren't they special. Things are moving along pretty fast here, can't believe how fast time goes by. I'm starting another lap quilt made with 5 1/2" lengths and 2, 2 1/2, and 3" width. I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do, but it'll come to me in the night when I do my best thinking. Have a great Thanksgiving.

Chris-Thanks again for inspiring me to use my EQ5. My sister thanks you too. She wanted to make a 9 inch block last night. She found a pattern she liked but couldn't figure out the measurements for cutting for a 9 inch block. I opened up my EQ5, found the block and printed off foundation piecing pattern for her. She is delighted. Now, I need to start learning to use it for real.

8/29/2009... I finally finished the two corner blocks... they are set on point so when they drop from the corner of the foot of the bed, the T-shirts stand up right so they can be better viewed... Hope you all like them...

My T-shirt Quilt Process

Okay... like I've said many times, I'm no expert, but I've had several ask me my process and so here is how I do it.

1. Rough cut all the T-shirt designs leaving as much area around the design as possible.

2. Square up each T-shirt again leaving as much area around the design as possible, but making sure that the design is approx. center. They won't be square, some will be wider than other, some will be longer than others, etc, etc.

3. Use Fusible Interfacing to back all the T-shirt squares.… Continue
