Have been sewing for 40 years, knitting for 2 years and just started into the world of quilting about 3 months ago. Been doing EPP so far and am really enjoying it. Now I'm shopping for a new sewing machine, have had my Singer since the 10th grade (1976!). When I'm not relaxing with my creative outlets I work as a Nuclear Security Officer. Have done that work for about 20 years and I'm a veteran of the United States Navy. I'm a born again Christian, a follower of my Lord Jesus Christ. I very much enjoy spending time studying the Bible and attend a weekly women's Bible study class. It was there that I was introduced to the beautiful world of quilting, by my friend and sister in Christ, Beth.
Connie-Welcome to the IQ group! We're glad to have you aboard! You should really have some fun with this bunch. They are all great! Being ex-Navy, you should get along well with our Froggie. She's a Navy wife. Can't wait to see some of your creations and get to know you better!!!

I live in south central Iowa now (south of Winterset, north of Lorimor), but grew up and lived in Adel for 44 years before we moved south. Welcome, welcome!
