Little late answering or thanking you for the compliments. I was a master gardener too but got to be too much when I was working full then my mom got Alzheimer's. Life got in the way. But I continue to garden. Not so much this year with knee surgery but feeling good now and will get the garden ready for spring. My garlic is being shipped and will put that in as soon as I get. I'm painting my greenhouse/potting shed two shades of purple. I love purple but it won't be too gaudy. I hope. I'm posting more pictures of the amazing corn from"Our Iowa" magazine. It's still growing. Even has ears now. I'm quilting but not with enthusiasm. What do they call that, a block of some kind? Creative block perhaps.
Beautiful horse. Is that your land? It is beautiful too.
Darla-I'm using the Printed Treasure sheets for most of the photos. I had a bunch sitting around that I hadn't used, but ran out of them and had to buy a back of June Tailor Colorfast Sew-In Ink Jet sheets. I like them much better. The printing seems much clearer and the backs are easier to pull off. One of these days, I'm going to try to make my own. But once I get started on a project, the less prep time, the better!! I know that I could make them at about half the price, but these are just soooo convenient!
Hello Darla! I just received the squares and they are just beautiful. I'm really fond of the lights you chose. They're not mediums!!! Thanks ever so much. It's all such nice fabric.
Have you started any seed for the garden yet? I hear a few people getting excited about spring, but I'm a little too chicken to start just yet. Maybe next week when it warms up a bit more. Our back porch is enclosed for the winter so it does warm up out there at this time of year, but I can't count on it staying like that with the way weather has been. Hot one day, freezing cold the next.
