Hi, I've been quilting for years, since I was just a little girl. I remember getting off the school bus and walking down the road to my grammie's house when she had a quilt in the frame so that I could quilt. When my kids were little and I was a SAHM, I sold alot of my work to help supplement the family income. These days I'm working full time and don't have as much time for quilting as I used to. But what time I make for it is a pleasure for sure.
Hi Darlene...the Star for a New Day quilt was designed by Sue Garman. I'm a member of "The Quilt Show" and that quilt was a BOM in 2009 and quilted by Donna Hazelton in Digby. I'm not sure if the pattern is still available for non-members. I know the tutorials are not available on their site as they only have them on for a few months after the initial 12 months. You can check it out!
