I've only been quilting for 3 years now and am totally addicted!! I've always wanted to give it a try, but thought I had to wait until my kids had grown and moved away -- wrong! I love it and have even taught a few classes at our local shop, where I work for 2 days a week to get my fabric "fix'. My first 'big girl quilt' was the Buggy Barn Crazy Goose Chase. Thanks for the compliment on my Amish quilt. I didn't want to spend an enormous amount of money on fabric while in Shipshewanna, so this kit was just the perfect solution. Didn't know how comfortable working with solid colors was going to be. Turns out I ordered fat quarters of all their solids!! sheesh! I did make another courthouse steps in solid Amish, and it was exquisite. Didn't have a camera, so that one went out the door without any documentation! People always say they will send me photos, but none show up :>} Today is baby quilt day. gotta knock em off for 2 nieces. p.s. I can see why you liked the Amish quilt....The colors are quite similar to the quilts you have in your album!OMG! would this pattern look cool in batiks? www.Yoder.com.I think that is the site. today is sunny and warm. 34 degrees and snow is melting. Nice to meet you! Vanda

Thank you! I grew up in Idaho. My friend's name was a combination of her father's name (Dale) and her mother's (Marleen).
