I've found that designing your original work is very satisfying. But the hardest thing is to fit the design into a block. Is it going to be a wellknown tamplate or will you need to design the block, too? It's very difficult and took me a long time to acctually complete a design. now I have more ideas on paper that time to make the quilts.

Hello Debi, I a quilters for about 10 years ,I make about 4 quilts a year since i im retired  I belong to a quilting group called THE COMMON THREAD we make quilt for everybody in our community that is going for cancer treatment.

Glad to be here, I got my room as a gift from my youngest son,he has a VERY GOOD, education i saw to, and a very good profession, now I have to be very careful wha I say I would like because it will show up on my back door...my other children are very generous in their way also,,,i really enjoy my shop and all my toys

Hi, My name is Helen.  I have been quilt for some 20 years.  I also belong to a quilting club here in my town and we meet twice a week at the Senior Center and hand quilts.  I also quilt at home on my machine.  Moved here 7 years ago and really got into quilting as it is colder here then in California where I came from.  Will try and post pictures later for you to view.    Thanks for the welcome.

What kind of machine are you using for quilting?  I do my smaller wall hangings on a domestic, but anything which is big enough goes on the Voyager.  Welcome to the group!!
