Things I Love To Do:

I just love using my quilting to be a blessing to others.  I make pillowcases for a organzation that cares for abused childern.  Just the idea of knowing I can do something to put a smile on a child's face makes me feel good inside. I have made quilts for mom's on there own.  Also for one of our actors and his family and for his organzation.  I do enjoy seeing quilts come together, even when I make a change to a pattern.  It awesome being able to use your own imagination

Hello!  Thank you for your comments about my quilts.  I made the 4th of July quilt (with our little boy sitting on it) for a girlfriend who's birthday just happens to be on the 4th.  Our son's final adoption hearing was scheduled for July 5th and we made hand out thank you cards using that photo.  I love to quilt but haven't been able to quilt much lately.  We homeschool our three children and that has been my main focus lately.  I want to seriously get back to quilting after the first of the year.  Take care, Chris ♥

Thank you Deb.  I know where all the mistakes are in the quilt top, but my hubby loves it just the way it is.

I give God the glory for my talent.  Sewing and quilting is such a peaceful hobby.

Blessings to you and yours.

Sandi

Hi Debra,

Hope you're having a wonderful holiday. Thank you for your comments on my quilts. I really do enjoy making them. Funny thing is that almost my entire family has one now and I still haven't made one for myself. I do my quilting by hand so the larger quilts usually take me the better part of the year finish. I figure when the kids are grown, I'll get a long arm. I can just imagine how quickly I'll finish them then.
