hi, i'm new to sewing and embroidery, love to see other ppl's work to get some inspiration for future projects. I enjoy my new hobby but also some days find it quite challenging, but having fun. I have no children, just the four legged kind lol i have two dogs Bear and Dottie. My embroidery machine is a janome memory craft 300E. and my regular machine is a brother (nothing fancy) just good enough for me to learn with. My dh bought me a quilting frame, which i still need to learn how to use. Help lol..... its a gracie II machine quilting frame from sew vac. Looking forward to seeing other ppl's work and sharing ideas with you to. Happy sewing embroidering everyone.

My pets are awesome!
Bear which he is a lab/husky cross, and his daughter Dottie lab/ great perrineeze (her mother was lab/great perrineeze) both awesome dogs with great temperments, just love giving hugs and kisses . But still protective of the home and us.
Thanks for explaining that to me and for all your patients,, I love the water soluble stuff!! I checked out the website and think that I might go ahead and buy it, but your offer of sending me the intructions before I buy it is great!! I would love to see them before I buy it. You can send it to Donnaspins1@yahoo.com and I will take a look at it, but it sounds like something that I can handle.. I love projects that I can take with me when we go hunting and I need portable things for the big two weeks in the woods in November.. besides hunting, eating and napping I need something to keep my hands busy while watching movies or hockey games,, I love her site at laura's sewing studio she has alot of interesting things but a bit more info would be nice for newbies like me.. LOL you have been a great help,, thanks!!!
Thanks so much Denise for posting the instructions for the hexagon quilt,, I was pretty clear on everything except what is wws and when you sew the hexagons together? put right sides together and stitch or put them flat side by side and use a zig zag stitch? My hubbie made me my spool holder, no pattern or anything and he made it to fit in the bookshelf that I have in my sewing room. He is so wonderful!!
Hi Denise. thanks for your very sweet comments. I enjoyed making that dragon quilt for my step daughter for her 21st birthday. She's autistic and very much into dragons still and has been for a number of years. I got the embroidery designs for the dragon at EmbLibrary a couple of years ago, and the fabric I got at Joanns about 2 years ago.

I have had a good day Denise. I worked in the flower beds and am extremely tired but it is a good tired. Are you still doing a lot of the FSL angels and things? Are you still doing embroidery? I didn't have good luck with the FSL items although I still want to do some more. I really want to do a lot of Snowmen and snowflakes for our oldest grandaughter. I am trying to get to the finishing on a quilt I did of snowmen for another group that I belong to.
I am glad you had a good day and will chat again soon I hope, Gayle
