Hi,
I did something very different today. I had an old Singer tuned up. I just plugged it in....what a "high". That machine is so smooth and quiet. I decided to sew up a denim lap quilt..sews with ease...I think I'll adopt this machine for sewing all denim blankets. I'm hooked.
Later I want to try a treadle machine.
Anyone else had this experience.
Denise

Thank you, I do feel a bit overwhelmed with what to do with the scraps. I have been looking for a good pattern that uses 2 1\2 inch stripes or squares. So far I have been working on UFOs, then cutting more scraps for an hour or so afterward. Thinking of making 4 patches and finding
a pattern that uses 4 patches.
Denise I just saw your friend request. I'm so sorry to have not responded sooner. Of course, I accept!
Thanks for the comments. I was wondering what the starters and enders are and how to figure out what to use for those? Is there a thread I could read for that? Sounds like a good idea to work a little on a scrap quilt while doing another project.
Hi, Denise, thanks for visiting my page. I just finished a the February Little Quilt and a row quilt swap. I joined a swap group here last year and I am having a lot of fun with the ladies in the swap. I am working on the 2015 birthday block exchange. Now, the swap kept me busy and got a few quilts to make with the swap blocks. how is your weather?
Love your portrait, so retro!
It must be pretty cold on your part of the world. It's great that you have quilting friends, surely makes it more fun. Have a Happy New Year!
Hi Denise and welcome! I hope you find as much enjoyment in this site as I have. Make new friends, see lots of photos and join in the chats or blogs along the way.
Everyone here is very friendly and helpful too.
Have a great day!
