About Me
Hi! I have been quilting for 15 years and am hopelessly addicted. I have tried traditional quilting from calico. Working with miniature quilts has been a joy and my first love. I have now branched into Art Quilts and FiberArts. I love colors, textures and embellishments.

I would love to unlock my creativity and experiment with fabric painting, texturizing my quilts and learning almost anything new.

If you get time just check out the Paper/Cloth Fusion Group I started here on Connecting Threads. I am not sure what you are talking about but look there and you'll be able to tell if it's the same as what you are doing. I have the recipe posted there for how to make the paper cloth. I figured it would be great to have a group like this here because, you use muslin and can stitich on it! And the array of embellishment and mixed media with it is fun. Hasn't caught on much, but we have three members. Hope our group grows. I just stipulated that we won't focus on ACEO's in the group, because, obviously we already have an ACEO group (which is fantastic) so there would be know need to focus on them in this group! hahaha! So go look....! Like you don't already have enough to do...LOL!

Hi Diana - You know, I tried several times to get this other fiber/mixed media group that I joined to work correctly (technically) and just had all kinds of trouble with it so I quit it. I saw you were on there! Do you ever have trouble on that site? It was really wierd....anywhose - just stopping in to say "hi" and hoping you are doing well! I got into my quilt and of course don't have any time for the ACEO's right now. Then I got the bright idea to start exploring paper cloth fusion which is really fun and a great avenue for mixed media! I still want to try some of the post cards, so don't count me out yet...I am still following the group. Have a great week. Vic

Diana, You are such a prolific quilter. I haven't developed your level of passion for the craft, but I LOVE fabric and collect like crazy. If fabric was food, I'd be in really big trouble! Take care, Janet

That is so cool. When I sent you the link, I didn't realize it was you! I thought it might be, didn't have time to read the whole article while I was at work, so I skimmed for your name and didn't see it. Of course, now that I have time and can read it, I'm so thrilled! It's someone I know! You should be very proud! Can I post it on the main page - pretty please? You should be famous among our members!

They were all amazing. They touch me in a way I cannot explain. I'm sure that's the reason you create them, to say that which cannot be expressed with mere words.
