I started quilting about 25 years ago when you needed templates. I stopped for many years and about 5 years ago took it up again, and am able to enjoy it more now than ever. Wow, so much has changed from when I first started. It's exciting to see all the new techniques and learn about them. Thanks for creating this space, Andi!

Hi Dana, The Eleanor Burns TAW pattern is in one of her books and I couldn't find it in my messy quilting room. It's buried but I promise I will look for it and send you a message. I bought the book from Amazon and I remember she is in front a train and it might be called Quick Trips.
Glad to have a new friend....by the way, my middle name is Diane....talk about coincidence..! I will catch up later. Have to sew a present with my grand daugter for her cat . The cat is 4 years old today.......still want to be my friend? too late
Love your quilts. Did the last one make you dizzy to put together?! So, you lived in my area. I only know one person who works at Joann fabrics that quilts around here. Nice to know there are some others in Chicago...
I love your convergence quilt- I especially like what you did with the corners- it was really unique. I have used Ricky Timms pattern and made a number of lap sized quilts by extending the size of the initial squares-they were quite fun to make and reasonably quick. Like you, I initially began quilting at a younger age and then left for quite awhile before returning to quilting. Do come and visit my page . Regards from a Western Canadian quilter, Anna
