Love hand work and am trying to do Dear Jane as much by hand as I can. Interested in seeing how others use colors and piece theirs.Have started adding embroidery to other projects to add dimension. New love is EPP. Excited about meeting so many talented new friends!
Have taken on Sylvia's Bridal Sampler and the Scrap bag Challenge.
Love doing volunteer work in our new community.
Moved from a city of one million to a town of 750. Quite a culture shock.

I placed an order with CT at the beginning of the week and the next day I got a call saying my Visa had been used for 2 things. Both not by me. Then my friend told me about the recent postings from Linda and Irene. What is happening?
Last weekend was the first quilt show our little town had. I was pushed into putting some of my quilts in to the show as they did not have enough. To my great surprise I won 3 ribbons for viewers choice.
I have to admit I was kind of proud!
Haha.. I'm here. Yes, I started today. Alix stopped by tonight to pick up my extra Easy Angle ruler. We had a really nice visit. BTW, did you know there's a Bonnie Hunter group here on QWU. THAT'S WHERE YOU'LL
As I sit at my machine, drinking my cuppa *warm* coffee from the beautiful mug you gifted me, I have to reflect upon our wonderful friendship. Diane, you truly are a gift yourself...all your support when I needed it, and so much fun when we're together. May you and Geoff have a wonderful Christmas with all your children and grandsons. Safe journey and we'll see one another soon. Love, Annette
Diane: Your opinion was GREATLY appreciated. I truly know so little about working with wool. How could I not learn from others, especialy ones with experience like yourself. Yes, I've been to Sue Spargo's site...I even have a piece that imulates her star...it was done in a monthly pass around with my guild so I only had to do the star to the background and 1 of the 16 circles. I love her stuff. Thanks again for your advise.
My Bad. My Bad. My Bad. As Cindy would say. Yes, your wonderful parcel arrived and I've been carrying a thank you around with me for weeks, waiting to go to the dreaded post office (I haven't the faintest idea how much postage to put on it and I hate the post office.) I'll put a few stamps on it and hope it won't arrive "postage due".
I cannot thank you enough for your gifts, your generosity and your thoughtfulness. They should elect you Queen of Canada.
A little belated but thank you for the stocking! I've been meaning to get in the groups but I don't even know where the time is going. I think this must be one of the quickest holidays yet. Hope all is well with you and your family and yes you did see your stocking posted on my very messy magnet board! The fabric is adorable!! Definitely goes with my snowman theme. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season.
Or, obviously when did I last check My Page? Anyway, Susan says she's still expecting us tomorrow. We were just out in Sylvan Lake and the roads are clear but there is blowing snow across the highway. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny with a few clouds so we should still be good to go.
