Thank you for you comment about my quilt. Do you have the book? I used the tulle, can't you tell. I used blue tulle. I had blue, beige, black and white and like she said in the book I tried with all of them and the blue looked the best.
Good luck with yours, I loved making mine and am making another one. I will post when I finish which should be in 1 week.
Glad you are liking the class, I have been pretty busy trying to get caught up, but have mine posterized as you saw, now I have to try and do the outline. I have some quilts that have to be quilted this week, so I am trying to get them out of the way before I get too far into the class. Guess I have two weeks or less to get things done.
Dianne, that is great, you will do wonder with this photo. I know Marilyn had some issues with his hand, but I am sure you will be able to over come that and it will be wonderful, I too have posterized my photo, but an anxiously awaiting the class to start, two days and counting!! Just yesterday I got the final okay to use Rosita:
Hi Dianne. Welcome to LOAQ. I hope you can post some pictures soon, would love to see some of your work. I know you will love the Marilyn Belford class. I've used her book and it really has made creating art quilts so much easier and fun.
Welcome Dianne to the Love of Art Quilts Group, we are a chatty group, full of fun and knowledge, so jump right in. I see you like applique and that is a lot of art quilts, along with the machine threadpainting, so you will love it all,
Again welcome, I am anxious to get to know you better!
