Well, Dottie, I guess at the age of 8+2 (or any facsimilie thereof) you have a right to decide what to spend your day doing. I wish I could knit or crochet even, so that I would have another hobby to fall back on. Oh well, so I guess I am destined to sew/quilt. I hope you are enjoying the move to the north and being near your family. I would like to make a move to somewhere farther north than I am so I could find some cooler temps. Oh, I was born and raised southern and don't really expect I'll ever be anything else. Enjoy your knitting time and when it gets cool then you can get back to quilting. CWUL
Dottie, I will definitely give Snickers a hug from you. He is missing his Grammy this week as she was here with us from Jan. 12 until last Sun. when my sister came for a week and took her back to PEI with her. She comes for the winter with me. The house seems so empty this week. Snickers is a yorkie-poo. He sure doesn't look yorkie but when his fur grows long you can tell he is yorkie. Down his back there is a strip of that beigey coloured fur and it is like wire (ha).
Dottie, yes the crystals on my sister's wallhanging went okay once I got the iron hot enough. Was afraid at first to scorch the fabric but it worked in the end. Remember you are only as old as you feel. Mom will be 84 in Oct. Glad you had a good day.
I don't mind being your twin sister!!!!!!!
In planning your sewing room look at some of CT pictures for ideas. Also, blog for CT suggestions. I know that I would change a few things in my sewingroom if I had the chance or rather money.
The new dane has some issues we need to work on but he promises to be a good doggie and companion. He had a bad last 2 weeks in a temporary foster home. I love to know there are so many loving guardians out there.....Judy
