My sister, Maxine, visited from Washington state and we had so much fun in my sewing room and checking out local quilt shops. She was able to attend and help with our Interfaith Quilting show and sale over the weekend which raised a LOT of money for charity. She brought springtime to the Rockies because I had 2 feet of snow in my backyard and my patio was covered. She went home on Monday and the patio is clear and I see grass back there for the first time since October. Thanks Max.

We will be having a white Christmas in Colorado. We have about 8 inches on the ground but the sun is out, the sky is blue and everything sparkles. Absolutely beautiful. I wish you all health and happiness on whatever holiday you might be celebrating. Merry Christmas and a Healthy, Happy New Year. Continue

Good Morning Eileen, I love your bag with the prairie points. I noticed that you also retired in 2007. I retired the end of Jan. in 2007. Do you find that you are busier now, then when you worked? I don't have enough hours in the day anymore. I'm doing "all the things I wished I could do while I was working" If I had known how much was on that list I would have worked longer. (just kidding) I LOVE RETIREMENT. Have a great day

Hi Eileen, just hopped over to peek at your quilts. Nice work! (I love this web site - there's a quilt show every day!)

Merry Christmas from the snowy Nebraska plains! PQ

Maxi and I did email a little in the beginning, and talked about getting together at the new group meeting at the Camas library. I should touch base with her again.
