I've been piecing and quilting since 1991, when I discovered Eleanor Burns on PBS. I was feeling depressed as my children had all left home and I felt like there wasn't anything left for me--well, that was until I discovered Quilting. I've always sewed, even as a small child in the early forties, but figured out that the clothes I made didn't really look that great, so I quit sewing for awhile in the seventies and eighties. I've been back at my many machines since I started making a Log Cabin Quilt (so many mistakes, but it's still my favorite) and have just gone on from there. My passion right now is to perfect my feather quilting. How I'd love to do those fabulous feather you see on quilts at the shows. Also, I'm crazy about the quilting on the quilts you feature in the Connecting Threads catalog. Someone is REALLY good!!! I will get there.
