Hello Francine,
Well summer is marching on and Autumn is hard on the heels, I felt a drop in temps today. I went to the quilt show, it was great, lots of ideas, but they don't sell TIME that's what I need more of.
Just been getting freezer stocked as my sister arrives next week, so looking forward to seeing her and hubby too. I think they are just coming out of winter in Queensland, so they shouldn't feel too cold here, although it's always warm in Brisbane.. I hope you are having time to sew, or are you like me, busy with family and the garden during the summer, it seems to take all available time, grass and weeds never stop do they. I will say goodnight.
Good morning Francine, lovely to hear from you, I'm a little slow at replying. I have been busy with so many things, ie friends illness and giving support, house external decorating, grandchildren and preparing for my sister and hubby coming for 6 weeks from Australia and a niece and family coming next week from Germany, so you can imagine life's been hectic. I am determined to go to the Harrogate quilt show 1st Sept and looking forward to that. Weather looking good today, I'm off to the beach with two of my grandchildren, they are wonderful but tiring, they have such energy, oh to be young again. Enjoy today.
Hello Francine, hope you r well and enjoying a little sunshine. We have now adjusted to being back home. I have been doing a little wall hanging, but it is so fiddly it's applique and I am not very experienced with it. I am sure it will be good when I eventually get it finished. Keep well, Marianne
Thank you for friend ingredients me, I do so enjoy this forum. I am from North Yorkshire, living in a market town on the edge of the national park. We enjoy country life, but I don't like cats, in fact I am afraid of them some may say it's a folia. It has been very hot here which is unusual for UK for almost 2 weeks, I'm not complaining, but I have not done much at all. A garden party on Wednesday so hope weather holds out. Looking forward to hearing from you.have a good week.
WHAT? You gotta be kidding me. I thought we were friends.

What a great poem, Francine. Thanks for sharing it with me. It's tough, isn't it? I never knew how hard it would be. I am really concerned about my grandsons. DD1 is such a big help right now, I thank God for her.
Love ya
