Glad the settings are working for you.  Camping next week in the mountains?  Lucky you. We used to camp all the time.  We started camping with tents when the kids were young and eventually got into RV camping.  When I retired from the Air Force, my DH and I traveled for a while in our RV.  We loved it.

My DH is refurbishing the inside of our RVt now so we can  use it for guests when the house gets too crowded.  I'm working on convincing him to find a place close enough where we can go on to on the weekends and just leave it there.  Then we can just drive our car to where it is parked.  The place I have in mind is Mexico Beach...quiet little town on the white beaches of the Gulf of Mexcio.  Only about a 35 - 40 minute drive from our home.  We live closer to Panama City Beach, but it is very crowded.  Since I used to help him drive it, but now I can't anymore, he is no longer keen on driving it on any long trips.

I do love the mountains, but it would be about a 6 -8 hour drive, minimum, to get to any.   He would never go for that long a trip in the RV.

Have fun....I bet the mountains will be nice and cool too.

Hey Gayle...are your setting changes working better for you.  Did you see that Janie J is on the TP group now..Fiona too.  Easiest way to find people form old group is to look at all the members of the TP group.  Just click view all and you will be be able to see their name and icon.  Find someone, and click icon to get to their page.  Hope they didn't go to "no mail".

Hey Gayle. I found you. You can run, but you can not hide.  I just sent you a friend request and hope you will accept it.  Makes it easy to find each other in the future or send email too.

So many groups here on QWU. I  joined the group "techniques for textiles". They have discussions going now on sewing tucks, using colored pencils, and ..oops. I  can't remember 3rd  discussion , but know I like it, LOL.  Maybe you will want to check it out.  There may be an embellish machine group or maybe it would fall in the techiques grp, but no one has brought it up yet.  They are a fairly new group I think.

I  have a tutorial for making a needle punch type stitch on sew machine. It is still on the links in the TPHMF group. Not closed that group yet.  Want to get all links copied first.  Hate to loose them.

I am rather new to this Quilt with us page, I just saw your profile and thought I would say hello - I am pleased to see you dont have cats, so many of the USA girls have ca.ts, I cannot understand why so many people have them - it is not like that here in UK perhaps you can tell me - I dont mean this to be an impolite request, I am just a little puzzelled.  I am rather new to quilting, but love it and am on a steep learning curve

Regards from North Yorkshire in UK
