Georgia, Thanks for thinking about our quilt garden show. This is the first Garden/Quilt Show we have had yes. We have just displayed quilts in the church before and was always a success. Hope the weather holds and this goes well.
Georgia, his name was Walt - his parents were George and Emma. He would have been 83 or 84 now. His siblings are Charlotte, Vernette, Gladys, Elonise, Don and Ron - there's one more sister and my mind is drawing a complete blank - altho I can picture her very well. I hate when that happens! I'm not sure where he fell in there other than I know for sure Don and Ron were younger than he was and Charlotte was the oldest. I don't know any of his uncles or cousins names tho.
Thanks Georgia - I love making them! Yes! My father-in-law was born near Dyersville altho he moved away from there many, many years ago and finally landed in New Hampton, IA. He passed 4 1/2 years ago, but my mother-in-law and 2 brothers-in-law still live in New Hampton.
